USPS adds Latino Cuisine to its Stamps
The U.S. Postal Service has added a fun new collection to its Forever stamps. Roy Betts, a spokesperson for the U.S. Postal Service, states:
With the release of the new Delicioso Forever stamps, the U.S. Postal Service celebrates the influence of Central and South American, Mexican and Caribbean foods and flavors on American cuisine
The six Delicioso Forever stamps are a fun addition that will surely leave many craving the food that is on the stamp. The U.S. Postal Service came up with a great idea that might even have people purchasing the stamps to keep for their collection rather than for sending mail. We won’t have to wait long to purchase these stamps either, the stamps go on sale nationwide on April 20th. The stamp dedication ceremony will be held in conjunction with the ¡Salud y Sabor!: Nuevo México event at the National Hispanic Cultural Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
